Salman Khan and Disha Patani are all set to begin their next film, Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat that rolls this Sunday. Priyanka Chopra, who plays the female lead in Bharat, will join the shoot in August. Elaborate sets have already been put up at Mumbai’s Filmistan Studios resembling a circus tent. Later, the shoot will shift to Malta and Abu Dhabi
It has now been revealed that the film set in 60s will have Salman playing a stunt motorcyclist while Disha Patani will be a trapeze artiste. Director Ali Abbas Zafar told Mumbai Mirror, “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks which will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction. He plays a daredevil stunt motorcyclist in the circus while she is a trapeze artiste.”
The director also shared a sneak peek into Bharat’s prep. “Straps #flying people @Bharat_TheFilm preparation,” he captioned the video.
Disha has been training for her role for more than a month now. A Holi song will also be shot on Salman and Priyanka in Mumbai once the Quantico star joins the shoot. The film will cover a span of 60 years from India in the 1960s to present day.

Disha Patani too earlier took to social media to share workout videos showcasing her preparations for the film. Other than Salman, Priyanka and Disha, the film also has Tabu and Sunil Grover in important roles. Bharat is expected to release on Eid next year.
