Salman Khan gets emotional, breaks down at Rajjat Barjatya’s prayer meet

Actor Salman Khan couldn’t hold back tears at the prayer meet of his friend, Rajjat Barjatya, who died on Friday.

Notwithstanding his tough exterior, Salman Khan is known to be soft-hearted. But, no one’s really seen that side of him in public. However, on Sunday, the actor broke down at his friend, Rajjat Barjatya’s prayer meet.

An inconsolable Salman, who was accompanied by his sister, Alvira Agnihotri, was seen hugging Rajjat’s cousin, filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, and sobbing.

Rajjat, who was suffering from cancer, died on Friday. He was the CEO of the production house that made Khan’s biggest films, Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) Hum Apke Hai Koun (1994), Hum Saath Saath Hai (1999) and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015).

Khan also tweeted his condolences. ‘Rest in peace my brother Rajjat Barjatya,’ he posted with a picture of him and Rajjat.
