At the Vogue Beauty Awards on Tuesday, Priyanka Chopra’s engagement to Nick Jonas was a much discussed topic. If Kangana Ranaut confirmed that Priyanka is indeed engaged and she also called and congratulated the Quantico actor, Shah Rukh Khan was also posed that question.
In an answer to a question about Priyanka’s impending wedding to the American singer, Shah Rukh was ready with a joke, “Even I am getting married. I’ll send you an invite. I will send you the card for the reception and also, do come for the mehendi.”
Shah Rukh and Priyanka have acted together in Don and Don 2. While speculation suggested that they were romantically linked, the stars never commented on the rumours.
According to the People magazine, “Nick Jonas closed down a Tiffany store in New York City to buy an engagement ring.” He later proposed on her 36th birthday while the pair was vacationing in London, nearly a week ago.
“They are so happy,” a source told the magazine. “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her,” the source continued. Nick and Priyanka were seen with his brothers in London.
