Siddharth, Aditya and I don’t control each other’s career: Kunaal

Actor Kunaal Roy Kapur says his brothers discuss work with him but never influence each other.

Actor Kunaal Roy Kapur has been an in the film industry for some time now and having elder brother — producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and younger brother — actor Aditya Roy Kapoor is a big support for him. However, the three brothers do not change each other’s professional decisions.

Producter Siddharth Roy Kapur is Kunaal’s elder brother.

“We do not influence each other’s career at all and look at our work professionally. We have made our way here and we cherish that and pride ourselves in our journey. We do take each other’s suggestions and there is a lot of industry talk when we meet but we do not interfere in our decision or influence the work we are doing. There to support each other but not to control each other,” says Kunaal, who has worked in films such as Nautanki Saala (2013), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013) and Action Jackson (2014).

Actor Aditya Roy Kapoor is Kunaal’s younger brother and acted with him in film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Talking about his choice of films, Kunaal, who was recently seen playing the role of lawyer Reddy in the film Azhar, says, “Yes, I am picky. I like working with people who I find interesting and are different from me. I keep trying to find people I can learn from or the scripts which are extremely challenging. Even if it is in the comic space, it should be slightly different. I try and play with tonality and looks. I try and find variation in my roles.”
