Sonu Sood to promote Kung Fu Yoga with Jackie Chan in Shanghai

The actor has been invited for the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival and will be promoting his upcoming film alongside Jackie Chan.

Sonu Sood finished shooting for his upcoming international film Kung Fu Yoga that also stars Jackie Chan, a few days back. Now, the Bollywood actor has apparently been invited to attend the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival that will be held in China this month. “Apart from attending the event, Sonu will also promote his international film at the coveted film festival. Not many Indian actors have attended this festival so far,” says a source close to Sonu.

The Bollywood actor will share screen space with Chan for the first time, and he is looking forward to promoting the film with him. “The movie is special for Sonu, not only because it’s his debut Indo-Chinese film, but also because he got a chance to work with his favourite action star, Chan,” says the source.

When contacted, Sonu said, “I am excited about attending the festival. I am really looking forward to meeting Chan again. I will visit the Jackie Chan Film Gallery. Also, Chan had promised that we will have lots of vegetarian food whenever I travel to Shanghai. So, I am excited about that as well.”
