Sushant and Ankita are sending out cryptic tweets. Can you decode any?

Maybe Sushant had intended it for someone else and Ankita thought it was about her and so to avoid the embarrassment, Sushant decided to delete his tweet.

Rumours of their split were all over news and media websites on Friday and it did not take long for Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande to address the situation. However, the way they did it is pretty confusing in itself.

If they are not actually splitting, something is still not right between the two. (Twitter)

On March 24, Sushant sent out the following tweet:

Sure enough, Ankita too replied with the cutest proclamation of love one can make on social media:

He then sent out two more tweets on Friday night and early Saturday morning:

Is he saying that Ankita cannot understand his silence or the media doesn’t understand him? It is all too confusing. The only thing we are clear about is that Ankita still looks very much into him.

If you have been following Sushant closely on Instagram, you may have noticed fewer to almost no more photographs of the two stars together who have been living together.

The last time they were spotted as a couple was at the Zee Cine Awards on February 20. They looked happy and were holding hands on the red carpet. But soon afterwards, Sushant was seen making solo appearances everywhere and even his social media pages on Twitter and Instagram didn’t have any new photographs of Ankita, unlike before.

“They have simply grown apart. It happens. When they started, they both wanted similar things. They both had dreams. But somewhere along the way, Ankita was just content doing nothing while his career took off. I think that is where the disconnect began,” the daily reported.

Rumours indicate that Sushant’s Shiuddh Desi Romance co-star Parineeti Chopra may be the reason. Chopra also split from her boyfriend Maneesh Sharma last year.

This is not the first time that such reports have come out about the duo, who began dating while shooting for Ekta Kapoor’s drama Pavitra Rishta in 2009. On earlier occasions, the duo made public appearances together to scotch the rumours.
