Salman plays a Haryanvi wrestler named Sultan and Anushka Sharma also essays the role of another wrestler in the film. “The most difficult doing this film has been the ‘langot’ (loincloth). I realised how heroines would feel when they have to go through the strip shots and all. Ali Abbas Zafar (director) asked me to wear ‘langot’ and not shorts as it doesn’t look real,” he said.

The 50-year-old star reveals he had never felt shy while removing shirt or wearing shorts on screen. “When I went and removed the lungi people were like ‘haye haye’. It was the most difficult thing. Thank god people got used to the visual. People started taking pictures and putting it on websites,” he added.

Sultan, produced by Aditya Chopra for YRF and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, releases in July.
