This is how Aamir is preparing for his role in Dangal

Aamir Khan recently met the daughters of Mahavir Phoghat, the wrestler on whom his upcoming biopic is based.

Last week, Aamir Khan had two special visitors. We’re told that the daughters of wrestler Mahavir Phoghat, Babita and Geeta Phoghat, flew down to the city from Haryana to meet the actor. His upcoming biopic is based on their father’s life.

An insider reveals, “Aamir was very keen to meet them, and all of their schedules finally matched. So the girls came down to Mumbai. Aamir was a gracious host and ensured that they were taken care of. It was an emotional meeting for the trio. They discussed Mahavir’s life, what he had taught the girls, and more.”

Aamir apparently wanted to know more about the wrestler from his daughters. “He wants to understand his personality before starting to shoot for the film. The trio had a long conversation, where the girls provided him with insight into their own respective journeys and their lifestyle back home. They stayed in the city for a couple of days and are excited to see how the film will turn out,” the insider adds. When contacted, Aamir’s spokesperson confirmed the news.
