Anupam Kher is starring in a film with Hollywood actor Gerard Butler. Directed by Mark Williams, the film is written by Bill Dubuque, who has earlier penned the Oscar nominated, The Judge. “I have already started shooting for the film in Toronto, Canada. Gerard is a great actor, and working with him is so fun,” says Anupam, who plays an Indian-American pediatric oncologist in the film.

The 60 year-old actor took to Twitter and lamented missing the paranthas. “Finally landed in Toronto. It is so chilly here. But they say it is supposed to be a warm day. Feel like having an Aloo parantha (sic),” he wrote on the platform.
Anupam, who was awarded the Filmfare Critics Award for his role in the 1989 flick Daddy, recently staged his play Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha’s 61st show in the Capital. After his return from Canada, Kher will start shooting for Neeraj Pandey’s film which is based on the life of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Kher will be playing the role of Dhoni’s father, while the World Cup winning captain will be played by actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
