Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma look very much in love in this still of Sui Dhaaga

In a new still of Sui Dhaaga, released by Yash Raj Films, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma look every bit a couple in love.

Yash Raj Films shared an adorable new picture of their forthcoming film, Sui Dhaaga. The picture, featuring the film’s lead pair of Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, is a charming image of conjugal bliss.

In it, we see Varun and Anushka looking lovingly at each other. Anushka’s character is flashing a beaming smile while Varun’s character too seems to be in a happy state of mind.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, YRF wrote that Mauji and Mamta are coming to the neighbouring cinema halls as the film releases on September 28.

In Sui Dhaaga, Varun plays a tailor called Mauji while Anushka’s character does embroidery and is named Mamta. The film was rumoured to be based in part on the Prime Minister’s Make in India campaign, which champions local industries. Both actors have trained hard for their roles. The production house, Yash Raj Films, has in the past revealed pictures of both Varun and Anushka honing the skills required for the roles—tailoring and stitching. Pictures from the shoot of the film have often gone viral.

The film has been shot in Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai and Delhi. Directed by Sharat Kataria, who earlier directed Dum Laga Ke Haisa, the film is slated for release on September 28.
