A helicopter, a Royal Air Force pilot, mid-air stunts, two daring hunks in John Abraham and Varun Dhawan who refuse to use body doubles to make the shot look realistic, and a whopping Rs 3 crore for a 12-minute chase sequence!

Director Rohit Dhawan released videos and pictures of shooting a 12-minute chase sequence from his upcoming film Dishoom on Thursday, and it has already raised expectations from the film sky high.

{{/usCountry}}Filmed in Abu Dhabi, the crew took four days to complete the shoot which involved both John and Varun who refused shooting with body doubles to make the sequence look realistic. According to John, Varun had never boarded a helicopter before the shoot.
Talking about his experience during the shoot, Varun says, “That was scary. There is no preparation you can do for a chopper sequence.” He added, “Dishoom is my very first action film and I am delighted to be a part of the most expensive action sequence. It was very tough but I thoroughly enjoyed myself shooting for it.”

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala not only roped in expert stunt choreographers but also personally looked into the safety and protection of both his lead actors. He made sure to have safety equipments on standby as a precautionary measure.

Dishoom is directed by Rohit Dhawan and will hit the screens on July 29.
