Actor Varun Sharma, who is currently basking in the success of his latest film Fukrey Returns, is gearing up to get back to work. The actor will next be seen in the film FryDay opposite Govinda.

Not divulging much about his role in the film, Varun is super excited to be working with Govinda. “It is so much fun shooting with him. There’s a lot of learning, since he is a legend of the genre in which I am trying to make a mark,” says Varun.
The 27-year-old adds that it was because of this film that he got a chance to meet Govinda for the first time. “The first time I met him was to break the ice before we began to shoot. He was very sweet and welcoming and we started chatting. I confessed to him that I’m a big admirer of him, and that I have been seeing his songs since I was a kid. That excited kid came out in front of him!,” laughs the actor.
While everyone has now realised that Varun has an excellent comic timing, he admits he earned this fame the hard way. He had to struggle a lot, giving numerous auditions before he bagged his first film, Fukrey in 2013.

{{/usCountry}}Both Hollywood and Bollywood industries have seen numerous women coming out about the sexual harassment rampant, with strugglers being easy targets. Even male stars such as Ranveer Singh have revealed incidents of casting couch. When asked if he too had come across such people in his struggle period, Varun says, “No, I have never come across such people. I am blessed that I met the right kind of people, and my auditions and work was liked.”
