The trailer for a new documentary from Oscar-winning filmmaker Davis Guggengheim is out. The documentary is about Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and stars the Pakistani girl.
Slated for release on October 2, the documentary has been produced by Fox Searchlight Pictures. He Named Me Malala traces the journey of Malala, her father Zia and their struggles to fight for education in Pakistan and worldwide.Malala was grievously injured in a terrorist attack in October 2012 when she was shot in the head on her school bus. Malala won the Nobel Peace Prize (2014) for her courageous and determined fight for children to have the right to go to school.

Davis Guggenheim has also made An Inconvenient Truth, Waiting for Superman.
