HT-Nielsen Top 10: Dan Brown’s Origin tops bestselling fiction list

Here’s your weekly digest of the best-selling fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.

Dan Brown’s fifth Robert Langdon adventure Origin has displaced the ruling champion Sita: Warrior of Mithila by Amish Tripathi from the top spot on the list of bestselling fiction this week.

Here’s the HT-Nielsen Top 10 list for this week.

Amish’s Sita is at number two, followed by Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl, Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist, and Savi Sharma’s Everyone Has a Story. Sanil Sachar’s Rebound is a new entrant to this list at number nine.

In the non-fiction category, Napolean Hill’s Think and Grow Rich has climbed to the top spot, followed by Dr Joseph Murphy’s The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. Raghuram Rajan’s I Do What I Do is at number three. Satya Nadella’s Hit Refresh is at number four, followed by new entrant Rupi Kaur’s newest poetry collection The Sun and Her Flowers. Benjamin Graham’s Intelligent Investor is another new entrant at number eight.

The first two slots on the list of best-selling children’s books in Indian publishing are taken by The Best of Tenali Raman and The Best of Panchatantra by Rungeen Singh. Ruskin Bond’s Great Stories for Children is at the third spot, followed by Timeless Tales from Panchatantra and 365 Bedtime Stories.
