The "Basic Instinct" star is reportedly looking for a deal to have her work published, reports Contactmusic.com.

Rebuffing rumours that her stories would be autobiographical or on the movie industry, Stone insists that they are a set of "mystery thrillers".

Playing a writer, however, doesn't come new to Stone, who played the role of a murderous novelist in her 1992 hit Basic Instinct and its sequel in 2006.
