These three Bcom (Hons) and economics (Hons) students bagged Rs 29 from Parthenon-EY, a strategy consultancy company.

Last year, the firm had offered Rs 29 lakh to Rhea Grover, a Bcom (Hons) student at Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR), the highest offer at the institute. The final placements are yet to get over at the institute this year.

This year, so far, 120 students have already been placed from SRCC, a Delhi University affiliated college. Parthenon-EY hired for the first time from the college and offered the highest package.

Among other top recruiters, McKinsey and AT Kearney offered about Rs 15 lakh for consultancy jobs to four students. Deutsche Bank has selected five students at a package of Rs 15 lakh per year. Other companies on campus this year were EY, Deloitte, ID Insight, KPMG.

“It is heartening to see the kind of companies coming for recruitment this year, and the variety of profiles is an added bonus. We shall strive to spread this reach even further in the times to come, in our attempt to provide our students the best of opportunities”, says Shalu Gupta, chief secretary of the placement cell.
