Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd (HMVL), the publisher of Hindustan, one of India’s leading Hindi-language dailies, has posted a 9% increase in revenues during the third quarter-ended December at Rs 142 crore, compared to Rs 130.7 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.Profit after tax, however, fell marginally to Rs 10.8 crore as against Rs 11.7 crore in the previous year.

“Having established our presence in all our key target states, our focus is now on penetrating deeper in these states through increasing circulation and readership,” said Shobhana Bhartia, chairperson, HMVL.
