Global gold prices($1865.0) plummeted which was followed by spot gold prices in Indian market( ₹48750), although the fall in Indian market of 0.02% was lower than the fall in Global prices of 0.05%.

In global markets, gold prices moved lower today after an uptick in the previous session. Spot gold fell by 0.05% to $1865.0 per Troy ounce. This price level is 6.72% higher than average gold price observed in the past 30 days ($1739.7). Among other precious metals, silver prices saw a fall today. Silver plunged 0.51% to $27.7 per Troy ounce.

On MCX, gold futures prices in India showed an upsurge of 0.1% to ₹48365 per 10 gram. In the previous session, gold was down 0.82% or about ₹48.4 per 10 gram.
On MCX, silver futures plunged nearly 0.54% or ₹386.0 per kg to the price level of ₹71480 per kg.
The gold spot price today ( ₹48750) decreased by ₹48.4 from yesterday ( ₹48760), whereas global spot prices saw a downturn of $0.9 to $1865.0 value today. On the contrary, MCX future price saw an increase of ₹48.4 and value of ₹48365 as of today.
