The company has put in place a new structure which is mainly based on functional reporting centrally and doing away with the earlier marketing unit structure.

The changes will send Homi Battiwalla, currently Senior Director Marketing – Colas, Juices and Juice Drinks (like Slice and water brand Aquafina) for PepsiCo India Beverages as the Senior Director, Beverage Marketing MEA Region and will be based out of Dubai.

Ruchira Jaitly has been promoted and will now lead the entire carbonated soft drink category (that includes brand like Pepsi, 7Up, Mirinda, and Nimbooz as senior director social beverages.)

Harsh Rai, who was the sales director of Pepsi Foods, and a PepsiCo veteran, has been appointed as the CEO of Nourishco, a PepsiCo India and Tata Beverages JV. He replaces Pratik Pota, who is now vice-president and COO of the company's bottling operations.

In the new structure, there will be no marketing unit heads and all the unit functional heads will now report centrally to the company owned bottling operations functional heads. As a result the earlier Himalayan and Peninsula market has been done away with paving way for Satyavrat Pendharkar, senior director & general manager of himalayan market to take up a new assignment within PepsiCo in Dubai.
