Captain Amreek Singh (retd) who had been working as a worker in the AAP had changed his party twice in a day.

He was in the AAP till Monday morning. Then around 11 am, he joined BJP in the presence of local leaders Banto Kataria and Seema Bhardwaj. He praised the saffron party there and got himself clicked with Kataria. He probably thought that AAP leaders did not get to know about him joining BJP. When a press conference was organized in the evening to announce the name of SP Singh, he was seen sitting along with him.

When SP Singh started speaking about unity in the party, press correspondents raised the issue of Amreek Singh and questioned that he had joined BJP in the morning. AAP leaders present in the meeting got surprised to know about it and one of then claimed that they did not invite him.
