Porn star-turned-Bollywood starlet, Sunny Leone has been keeping busy a lot these few years. Starting off her silver screen journey as a jilted lover in Jism 2 to firing up the testosterone charged males as a porn star in Ragini MMS 2, Sunny continues to amaze the audience with different novel roles. She’s soon to be seen in a Telugu movie Theega, as teacher. Now, if that’s how you avoid students bunking classes, I wish I was a schoolboy again.Let’s have a quick look at the Bollywood actresses who have held a ruler and stuck a stern look but still managed to look all the more sexy in the role of a teacher.
(Clock wise; Chitangada Singh in Desi Boyz; Divya Dutta in Stanley Ka Dabba; Shehnaz Tyrelwala in Luv ka Chitrangada Singh in Desi Boyz (2011)This macro economics professor attracted more wolf whistles from students than economics related questions. Moreover, the spec eyed Chitrangada perfectly suited the role of a professor and even made Akshay Kumar, one of her students, fall down on his knees. Shenaz Tyrewala in Luv ka The End (2011)Anchor/Actor turned script writer, Shenaz wrote herself for the role of a sensuous teacher who was surrounded by rumors of doing "the thing" with the coolest guy of the college. Still introduce a "cute" teacher like her, and the attendance of the students would never dip.Divya Dutta in Stanley ka Dabba(2011)Divya Dutta played the role of a teacher, the one we all had at some point of our lives. Caring, supportive, the one who makes lessons cup of tea with sweet smiles and red stars on the cheeks.
Ayesha Takia in Paathshala(2010)Ever thought of having a teacher who’s strict but with a gentle side to her, who smiles and her nose twitches; someone whose smile can make you learn lessons a lot easier, well this was the amalgamated role played by Ayesha in Paathshala. Nowhere near sexy in her appearance, still, she managed to make the hearts of many skip a beat.Sushmita Sen in Main Hoon Na (2004)Talk about sexy teachers of Bollywood, Main Hoon Na’s chemistry teacher Sushmita Sen, strikes out as the hottest of them all. With chiffon sarees and an hourglass figure, Sushmita was definitely making many corrosive reactions happen in the audience’s hearts.Hema Malini in Dillagi (1978)A teacher with cute, easy on the eyes, sublime looks -- this is what Hema Malini atoned as a Chemistry teacher in her movie Dillagi. But that’s not all, cute by looks, but threatening personality was the complete figure to her role in the movie. I guess we would like to look at her only from the class windows.Simi Garewal in Mera Naam Joker (1970)Who can forget the sweet and sensuous Simi Garewal’s role of a teacher, Mary, who teaches Raju the lessons of life. Now if today’s classes hold life learning lessons and teachers like Simi, then I think there would be hardly anyone who won’t be interested in being taught again and again...And again!
