Twitterati go berserk as superheroes turn Indian

Our country is surely driven by our ‘bade buzurgs,’ which was proven by a trendy topic at twitter on Monday, #IfSuperheroesWereIndians. Given the hash-tag, a lot of hilarious tweets came pouring in, in no time. But I feel comedy is a serious business these days. And in India, where we are bound by family laws forever, such tweets sounded more than just funny.

Given the hash-tag, a lot of hilarious tweets came pouring in, that too in no time. But I feel comedy is serious business these days. And in India, where we are bound by family laws forever, such tweets sounded more than just funny.

No doubt, we Indian kids are dependent on our parents for nearly twenty-five long years (or more) for our necessities- a home, our education, even money. Even if we become superheroes tomorrow, we would be under constant scrutiny of not only our parents, but our neighbours, our relatives as well as the entire society!
