The minister posted the video and wrote, “10-lane Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway and Vande Bharat Express in one frame! Double Engine BJP Govts at the Centre and in Karnataka have delivered next generation infrastructure at a scale & speed that is unprecedented.”

Meanwhile, in November last year, Vande Bharat train between Mysuru and Chennai was inaugurated by the railway department and it was first such train in south India. The average speed of the Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat express service is between 75 and 77 kilometers per hour. The distance between the two cities is around 504 kilometres and it will take around a six-and-a-half hour journey to reach Mysuru from Chennai.
