Former Maharashtra minister and MLA Aaditya Thackeray's car collided with a bike near Sena Bhavan in the Dadar area of Mumbai. The incident occurred when Thackeray's vehicle was making a right turn towards the Shiv Sena Bhavan in the area. As the pace of his vehicle slowed down while making the turn, a biker came rushing from behind to overtake the former minister's car and ended up colliding with it.
After the mishap, the biker fell off his bike. A video of the incident also shows the biker trying to run away after the accident. However, Thackeray's security personnel and police rush to the spot and caught hold of him. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Responding to the incident, Aaditya Thackeray said that it was a normal occurrence.

{{/usCountry}}However, a case concerning rash driving was filed against the biker Amit Anjara. Cases were registered under IPC section 279. Further investigation is underway.
This is not the first time that Thackeray's car has collided with another vehicle. Back in 2017 too, his car rammed into another vehicle near the Kalanagar junction in Mumbai.
