Deccan police apprehended a man driving an Audi after he rammed his car into a pedestrian, who approached him to inquire about a coaching institute in the area.

According to the police, the complainant, Vishal Sonawane, an advocate by profession, was on his way to Dnyanmudra Classes on Sunday. He approached a man sitting inside an Audi car in front of Subhadra hotel on JM Road and asked him for the address of Dnyanmudra Classes.
The man inside the car, enraged by the pedestrian’s prodding, retorted, “Do you have any idea to whom you are talking? We are people who drive expensive cars”.
According to Deccan police, the accused abused Sonawane and hit him with his hand. The complainant collapsed to the ground, and the accused later drove his car over Sonavane’s foot. The complainant was injured in this incident and went to the nearest police station to report the incident.
Sandeepan Pawar, senior police inspector (SPI) at Deccan police station said, “As per the complaint filed by the advocate Sonawane, we have registered a case against the owner of the luxury car and further investigation is underway.
A case has been registered at Deccan police station under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act and further investigation is going on.
