State extends deadline of data entry on UDISE+ portal till Dec 31

The state school education department on Sunday extended the deadline for student data entry on the UDISE+ portal till December 31.

The decision follows a proposal sent by schools on October 14 to the government seeking relaxation in the deadline, citing technical issues in updating data on the UDISE+ system.

Earlier, September 30 had been fixed as the cut-off date for determining student strength for sanction approval. However, in view of practical difficulties, the deadline has now been officially extended.
