  Just the win they were expecting at the start of the game. By a margin of 8 wickets they have won the game and that will be a huge boost to their NRR having chased the target in 6.2 overs.

  Another wicket falls for Australia in their search for the quick finish. Warner is the batsman to depart, scoring 18 off 14.

  He deserved it more than anyone, having missed two opportunities to dismiss the Aussie skipper. Finch made room to hit the ball over the offside, but missed it and the ball hit the stumps. He walked back for 40 off 20, but Finch has done the damage. Australia need 16 more to win

  Warner started off with a boundary cut through point against Mustafizur. Finch then whipped one over deep mid-wicket for a six. Warner then smashed two back-to-back boundaries to take Australia to 44 for no loss in 4 overs.

  “We set ourselves to improve on that last fixture and I think we started really well in the powerplay and Adam Zampa taking a five-for was outstanding for us today, so good all-round performance with the ball. I had a few days to try and find some rhythm in my run-up, but we had to put the last fixture out of our minds and that's the nature of T20 cricket. We had a break and played a couple of rounds of golf and for me it's all about trying to find rhythm with my run-up.”

  He became the second Australian to pick a five-wicket haul in ICC men's T20 World Cup after James Faulkner's 5 for 27 against Pakistan in 2016. 5 for 19 is also the best figure by an Australian in the tournament history.

  Bangladesh now have five scores of below 100 in T20 World Cups, two of them came in this tournament itself. After being folded for 84 against South Africa, the Asian country has been skittled for a disastrous 73 which is now their second-lowest total.

  When he returned into the attack in the 15th over, Zampa was on a hat-trick, having picked two-in-two in his third over. But the opportunity was put down by Wade. Nevertheless, he finished with a five-wicket haul, folding Bangladesh for just 73

  Shamim went for the cut against the googly and only manages to get a good outside edge. Wade makes no mistake as Shamim departs for 19. He then picks his third wicket catching Mehedi Hasan in front of the leg stump, dismissing him lbw for a golden duck.

  First six of the game!

  50 deliveries into the game and Bangladesh score their first six in the game. Shamim Hossain got down on one knee to slog sweep the flighted delivery from Zampa over deep mid-wicket for a six. That was the longest part of the boundary. And that brought up 50 for Bangladesh as well.

  First ball after the powerplay and Zampa picks up the fifth wicket, dismissing Afif Hossain for a duck. Australia will be happy with this given that they would want to improve their NRR besides winning their remaining games in the World Cup.

  Hazlewood ends Naim's charge

  Sliced on through backward point and punched on through the covers against Cummins to smash two boundaries. Naim then took onm Starc to hit back-to-back fours before getting one against Hazlewood. But the the latter ended his charge with a shortish and slower ball as Naim pulled it straight to Cummins at mid-wicket.

  A third wicket falls for Bangladesh as it is Maxwell who joins the list, dismissing Mushfiqur Rahman for just 1 (2). Another poor start from Bangladesh, which has been one of the reasons behind their exit from the World Cup.

  A thick inside edge and the ball hits the middle stump. Hazlewood dismisses Soumya Sarkar for just 5 off 8 as Bangladesh go 2 down for 6. This was the third time the Aussie dismissed Sarkar in T20s, for just seven runs in 22 balls.
