An undefeated 81-run stand between David Warner (75 not out) and Steve Smith (25 batting) has left Australia with a good chance to force a win in the first Test vs Bangladesh in Dhaka, Mirpur. At stumps on Day 3 on Tuesday, Australia were 109 for two, needing another 156 runs for victory. Needing 265 for a win, Australia were in a hole losing their first two wickets for just 28 runs but David Warner and Steve Smith batted with circumspection on a tricky Sher-e-Bangla track. Earlier, Nathan Lyon took 6/82 as Bangladesh were dismissed for 221 in the second innings. Tamim Iqbal celebrated his 50th Test appearance with a second half-century of the match. Bangladesh had a 43-run first innings lead. Get full cricket score of Bangladesh vs Australia, 1st Test, Day 3 here. (DAY 2 REPORT)
