India cricket will comply with the World Anti-Doping Agency's whereabouts rule for players. "We will have talks with the WADA officials" on the issue, said Ratnakar Shetty of the Board of Control for Cricket in India on Tuesday.
Indian cricketers last year refused to meet a WADA deadline to comply to the rule, saying it intruded on their privacy and was a potential security risk. In October, the International Cricket Council suspended the clause until the Indian players' concerns were sorted out.
The controversial whereabouts rule requires elite athletes to make themselves available for out-of-competition testing for one hour a day for all 365 days in a year.
BCCI president Shashank Manohar said last year that India was committed to ensuring cricket was a drug-free sport and would sort out the issue amicably with the ICC.
