The ground was damp despite it being entirely covered due to overnight showers. And even then, it isn't fit for play even two and a half hours later. That is how things stand at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. A lot of fans in the stands today, not that organisers tend to care for them too much in matches held in India, and they will have to wait another couple of hours at least before knowing whether they will see any cricket today or not. In the day and age of advanced drainage systems, we will have no play for five and a half hours at least because of rains that happened the night before the match.

  India vs Bangladesh Live Score, 2nd Test Day 3: Let's just run through the little bit of cricket we got to see in this match, shall we? Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl first. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj kept a check on the Bangladesh openers before Akash Deep struck in his very first over, dismissing Zakir Hasan for a 24-ball duck. Deep then dismissed Zakir's opening partner Shadman Islam. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto and former captain Mominul Haque then ensured that the visitors didn't lose any more wickets in the first session. The stand was ended by Ravichandran Ashwin in the early in the second session but Mominul and Mushfiqur Rahim were then looking nice and solid for the few overs that were possible after that.
