Sunrisers Hyderabad benefitted from KKR’s exclusion as they made it to the playoffs with only 12 points and will now take on the Delhi Capitals in Eliminator 1.
Royal Challengers Bangalore, which finished last on the points table, managed to get 11 points which is the most amassed by the bottom-ranked team in an IPL season.

Both Mumbai Indians and Super Kings will now be eyeing their fourth IPL title while Delhi Capitals have managed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 2012. Also, SRH will now aim to clinch their second IPL title after the booked a playoff spot for the fourth consecutive season.
