Sachin Tendulkar, with his countless records, remains at the pinnacle of the batting charts even after four years after his retirement. A prolific run-scorer across formats, Tendulkar leads the charts in Tests and ODI cricket as the highest scorer.

Tendulkar is the only batsman to have scored 100 international centuries — 51 in Tests and 49 in ODIs — and also has several batting records against his name, which will take hard work, perseverance and probably a bit of luck as well for anyone to surpass.

While Tendulkar is set to rule the roost in batting department for years to come, there is one field in which the Little Master says he did not score as much as he would have liked.

Through a Twitter post in which he posted a childhood picture of his reading a book, he said he wished he had scored more in that field.
