Kuldeep Yadav’s impressive Test debut against Australia in the fourth and final Test in Dharamsala drew praise from various quarters on Saturday. The debutant chinaman claimed four Australian wickets to bowl them out for 300 in the first innings of the fourth and final Test at Dharamsala.
Virender Sehwag seemed delighted at the way the youngster left the Australian batting line-up reeling with a brilliant bowling performance.
As soon as the Australians innings wrapped up, Sehwag fired a tweet praising Yadav’s debut day. “Is China ke maal ki lambi guarantee hai. India’s first ever Test Chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav, shaandaar firki le li Australia ki.”
Legendary Sachin Tendulkar too did not hold back in lavishing praise for Yadav. “I am impressed with @imkuldeep18’s variations and the way he has started. Keep going strong, this can be your match to shine,” the record-breaking batsman tweeted.

He then claimed the wickets of Shaun Marsh (4), caught behind by Wriddhiman Saha, before bamboozling Peter Handscomb (8) and Glenn Maxwell (8) with his wrong’un. Yadav’s fourth victim was Pat Cummins (21), who chipped back a simple catch to back to the bowler.
