Raksha Gopal from Noida’s Amity International School scored 99.6% marks to top the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board examination 2017, results of which were declared on Sunday.

Bhumi Sawant of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir in Chandigarh emerged as the second topper with 99.4% and Aditya Jain from the same school bagged 99.2% to become the third topper. Mannat Luthra of Bhavan Vidyalaya in Chandigarh got 99.2% and was placed fourth.
Last year, a Delhi girl led the list of toppers in the Class 12 exam with two students from Haryana securing the second and third positions. Girls had outperformed boys in 2016 by a margin of around 10% and their pass percentage stood at 88.58 as compared to 78.85 of boys.
Candidates can check their results of the exam held between March 9 and April 29 by clicking cbseresults.nic.in.
CBSE has advised the public not to visit Board’s office for collection of results as it will not be available there. The result highlights will be e-mailed to candidates.
