Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) has declared the results of class 10th board exam today.17278 of the 18687 students who appeared passed giving a pass percentage of 92.47%
The pass percentage is the highest over the last five years. The previous highest pass percentage was 91.57% recorded in 2017.

Addressing a press conference, Chairman of the Goa Board Samant said Ramkrishna Samant said that the results were a testament to the efforts put in by the students as well as the teachers and the schools.
The examinations were held between April 2 and April 26 across 21 centres of Goa.
Girls achieved a marginally higher passing percentage of 92.64% as 8772 of the 9469 girl students appeared passed while 8506 of the 9215 boys who appeared passed giving a pass percentage of 92.31%.

{{/usCountry}}The results, the chairman said are announced within 23 days of the date of the last examination which is a record.
The distribution of grades/ marks of SSC exam will be on May 23 from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm as per the schedule.
