Meet Aman Bansal who topped JEE Advanced 2016, know his success mantra

Jaipur’s Aman Bansal, who took coaching from Kota-based Allen Career Institute, topped the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2016, the results of which were announced on Sunday.

“I studied for around 5-6 hours daily for success in JEE Advanced,” the 17-year-old said. He scored 320 marks to clinch the top slot in JEE Advanced in the country.

“Students should clear their doubts immediately ... during classes,” Bansal, a student of Kota-based Allen Career Institute’s Jaipur centre, said.

Bansal wants to pursue computer science from IIT Mumbai and said that regular studies with self-belief are the key to success when asked about his success mantra.

He also called upon JEE Advanced aspirants to focus on every topic to clear the all India common engineering entrance examination.

He described the Kota pattern of education for JEE Advanced as an important factor that helped him do well. Last year, Satwat Jagwani from Kota’s Bansal Classes topped JEE Advanced.

A student of Jai Shri Periwal School in Jaipur’s Chitrakoot, Bansal scored 96.2% marks in Class 12 board examination this year.

Allen Career Institute’s director Naveen Maheshwari said Bansal has also qualified for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) examination, the second stage of chemistry Olympiad as well as the first level of physics and astronomy Olympiads.

Two other students from the institute have grabbed the second and the third All India Ranks in the Advanced examination. Kunal Goyal, who also studied at the institute’s Jaipur centre, got 310 marks to get the third rank. Bhavesh Dhingra studied at Chandigarh and got 312 to grab the second rank.
