The result day is here. Punjab School Education board (PSEB) will release the class10th merit list today, at 11:30 am. PSEB will hold a press conference at 11:30 am to release the merit list and then declare the class 10th result which will be available 24 hours later.
“The board results for Class 10 will be declared on Wednesday,” said a senior official of PSEB, who did not want to be named. Candidates will be able to check their result tomorrow on the official website at pseb.ac.in. Students can check their result by entering their roll number.
PSEB will declare the class 12 board exam result by the end of this week.
A total of 3.40 lakh students appeared in the Class 12 board exams this year, while 3.80 lakh students appeared in Class 10 board exams.
Last year, nearly 3.7 lakh students had appeared in the Class 10 exams while over 3 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exams. The overall pass percentage in Class 10 exams in 2018 was 59.47% while the overall pass percentage in the Class 12 exam results was 65.97%.
