Sreeramareddy secured 51,697 votes. Janata Dal (Secular)'s candidate Dr. C. R. Manohar grabbed the third spot with 38,302 votes. The top three parties got 40.1%, 31.6% and 23.4% respectively.
In Karnataka Assembly election 2013, Independent candidate S.N Subbareddy(CHINNAKAYALAPALLI) defeated Communist Party Of India (MARXIST)'s Sriramareddy G.V by 30,755 votes.
