Madhya Pradesh Election 2022: Raopura Assembly Seat

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 7 candidates in the fray from Raopura constituency. Raopura was one of 99 seats won by the Bharatiya Janata Party. It was a one way contest with Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajendra Trivedi "rajubhai Vakil" comfortably winning the election upstaging Indian National Congress's Chandrakant R. Shrivastav "bhatthubhai" by a huge margin of 36,650 votes.

The top two candidates split 98.6% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Rajendra Trivedi "rajubhai Vakil" got a total of 1,06,985 votes, while Indian National Congress's Chandrakant R. Shrivastav "bhatthubhai" secured 70,335 votes. Gujarat Jan Chetna Party's candidate Saraswatiben Khetsinh Rajput "sattumem" secured 850 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 59.5%, 39.1% and 0.5% respectively.
