He jumped off the bridge in San Pedro Sunday afternoon, reported The Los Angeles Times.

Tony, brother of director Ridley Scott, is credited with biggies like Top Gun, Enemy of the State, Beverly Hills Cop II, True Romance and Crimson Tide.

Bollywood celebrities mourned the loss of the filmmaker, and took to Twitter to share their memories of his work.
