Actress Aamna Shariff loves making new dishes, is crazy about all things sweet and can’t live without her fix of coconut water. Here, she reveals her food fundas:

The first thing I have in the morning: A glass of water. I follow it with a glass of vegetable juice. Breakfast is either fruits or cornflakes or an egg-white omelette. I cannot function without a proper breakfast.
My lunch: I love home food. It comprises two rotis, a chicken dish, pulses and veggies. Salads and curds are an integral part of my meals.
My favourites in vegetarian food: I love cabbage, palak-paneer and lady-finger. I also like having sarson ka saag and makai ki roti.
My favourites in non-vegetarian food: Chicken and fish delicacies. Lobsters and crabs are a no-no.
My evening snack: A glass of juice or coconut water. I consume lots of liquids — after every shot, I must have coconut water.
My favourite fruits: Kiwis, grapes and watermelons. I like oranges, mosambi and papaya, too.
My dinner: I try and eat as early as possible as I believe that it's important that the food gets digested well before sleeping.
My favourite desserts: I have always been a dessert person. When I go for a buffet, I eye the salads and desserts and not the main course. My favourites are gaajar halwa, dudhi halwa, besan halwa and all kinds of Bengali sweets. In western desserts, I relish cakes, chocolate mousse and chocolate brownies with ice-cream. When I’m abroad, I go crazy buying chocolates.
