Actor Anil Kapoor may be blessed with age-defying genes, but his daughter, actor Sonam Kapoor reveals that her father is older than he is believed to be. Sonam says her father's age is not 52.

Actor Anil Kapoor may be blessed with age-defying genes, but his daughter, actor Sonam Kapoor reveals that her father is older than he is believed to be.

“He is not 52. He is a liar. He is much older than that,” the 26-year-old giggles while telling us in good humour. So, what is his real age? “I am not going to tell that. He is 1956 born. Now you should do the calculation,” she says.

While Wikipedia says Anil was born on December 24, 1959, his daughter’s revelation takes his age to 55 years.

Sonam, however, says that she is proud that her papa has bagged plum projects even at this age.

“At his age, he is working as much as the young boys. He is giving them a run for their money,” she says.
