Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra met one of her closest friends, Tamanna Sharma, 11 years ago. “We lived together, when Priyanka first came to Mumbai. One thing I love about her is that she is grounded and has never been rude to anybody,” said Tamanna, who works with an international airline.
Actor Imran Khan’s best friend, filmmaker Wasim Khan, recalls: "In 2004, I had left Bombay and gone to Kashmir due to personal problems. It was snowing and it was my birthday the next day, but when I told Imran I had no plans and was lonely, he said, ‘Why don’t you pick me up at the Sri Nagar airport tonight?’"
Actor Riteish Deshmukh too met best buddy, Rajeev Parekh, while in college. “We were studying architecture in New York. I watched every film of his and am a frank critic of his work,” says Parekh, an architect.

Abhinav has known best friend, Ambika Jain, since they were kids. “He’s the one person you can fall back on any time,” says Ambika. Genelia says her best friend, Anup Chandran, “redefines friendship. He’s the best friend anyone can have.
