After Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai stunned everyone at the 70th Cannes Film Festival, it is now Sonam Kapoor’s turn. The actor went all out in a most sparkly gown for her first red carpet appearance at the festival this year.
Sonam wore a rose gold Elie Saab beauty with bell sleeves so huge, they could work as a drape too. The daring neckline and her cinched waist gave her a beautiful silhouette which was complimented by her messy updo.
The actor paired her outfit with a lot of bling. She wore chandelier earrings that almost touched her shoulder blades and chunky bracelets on her hands.
Earlier in the day, Sonam wore a prismatic sari as she made her way to a press interaction, teaming it up with a sporty white blouse. Her outfit was a homage to pop icon Cher who celebrates her birthday on Sunday.
Sonam has been representing L’Oreal as its brand ambassador at Cannes Film Festival since 2011. She will walk the red carpet again on Monday.
