‘Hair nails’: The new beauty trend we hope will die a quick death

After braided eyebrows and squiggle lips, brace yourself for hair nails.

First we had braided eyebrows. Then there were squiggle lips. And just when you thought that that was the last of extreme beauty trends for this year, here comes the latest bizarre trend. We have two words for you: hair nails

Illusion artist Dain Yoon, who goes by Twitter handle @designdain uploaded an image of her nails— each finger adorned with a painted face and, hair.

“Many people told me I should delete those [sic] my photos before becoming a new trend,” she wrote on Twitter.

While people thought the trend to be ‘disturbing’, they lauded her imagination and creativity. A few wondered where she got the hair from.

And if you are still in the dark about squiggle lips and squiggle eyebrows, here is some enlightenment. You’ll thank us later. Or maybe not.
