Red and pink. What was once a fashion faux pas is now an insanely stylish pairing. Just look to actor Kangana Ranaut’s unlikely colour pairing that works in the most surprising way.

Wearing red and pink together was once considered a fashion faux pas. Now it’s one of the season’s coolest colour pairings. Case in point: Actor Kangana Ranaut wore a vibrant raspberry pantsuit with a crimson bag in London on Monday.

See Kangana’s super-strong look here:

The actor suited up with eye-popping tailored separates which was uplifted by her bright, contrasting school bag. The lesson? If you want to take the very strong red and pink pairing slowly, start from the accessories.

If you’re thinking about adding a few new pieces to your wardrobe, this Kangana look might help you make some shopping decisions.

1. Who says a working wardrobe need be restricted to sombre shades of black and grey? Certainly not Kangana. You could invest in a pink pantsuit and add a hit of red to the office look: Do like Kangana and simply add a red bag to you look. You can also go for colour-blocked red pumps.

2. For your next night out, you can make a statement with a two-tone dress glammed up with elegant accessories, like a sling bag and sparkly earrings.
