The story is based on the friendship that photographer Dennis Stock struck with Dean while on an assignment to shoot the star in the 1950s. The movie is directed by Anton Corbjin.

2 The WalkBased on: Philippe PetitActor: Joseph Gordon LevittTentative release date: October 2, 2015American actor Joseph Gordon Levitt will be seen playing the role of French high-wire artist Philippe Petit in this upcoming film. The story focuses on Petit’s illegal wire walk between the twin towers of the World Trade Center in 1974 with the help of some recruits. It has been directed by filmmaker Robert Zemeckis.

The movie is based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s book by the same name. The story, set in 1820, focuses on the sinking of whale ship Essex by a sperm whale, which results in its crew being stranded for 90 days. It has been directed by filmmaker Ron Howard.

5 I Saw The LightBased on: Hank WilliamsActor: Tom HiddlestonTentative release date: November 2015Actor Tom Hiddleston, of The Avengers fame, will be seen portraying the role of American country singer Hank Williams in the upcoming movie, I Saw The Light. The movie will see the life of the singer, who after his ­meteoric rise to fame in the 1940s and 50s, ­struggled with alcohol and drug abuse in the later part of his brief career. Filmmaker Marc Abraham is directing it.
