Actor Anne Hathaway has officially signed up to play Fantine, in the big screen adaptation of 1862 French novel, Les Miserables, by author Victor Hugo.
The 28-year-old has signed up to play the role opposite actor Hugh Jackman in the movie, which will be directed by Tom Hooper, reports contactmusic.com. The filming will start later this year.
