Six months after a public falling out, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in a much better place and are back on speaking terms, a report says.
Sources tell People.com that Pitt and Jolie, who separated in September 2016, and were embroiled in a bitter custody battle for their six children, are now settling into their new lives.
“He’s much happier,” a source says. “He’s very relieved that things are not playing out in public anymore.”
As negotiations proceed, Pitt is getting to spend more time with his kids, the report says. “He is spending more time with the kids when they are in LA,” says another Pitt insider. “He has even spent some time with Maddox and Pax. Things are definitely calming down.”
Immediately after the separation, it was reported that Jolie was refusing to let Pitt see their children. They spent Thanksgiving and Christmas without their father.

{{/usCountry}}But it seems like things are changing. Recently, Jolie admitted to ABC News that Pitt was a “wonderful father”.
“He’s always been extremely positive about how Angie’s a good mother, and the goal was to resolve everything for the kids and the whole family, and they’re working toward that,” says the source.
“It was a rough time, but they were able to resolve it,” adds the source. “This is a work in progress.”
