The 34-year-old actor and his wife Hannah Bagshawe are parents to four-month-old Iris.

“My wife is pretty cool. I’ve spent most of my life trying to be cool and I’m the least cool human being in the world, so she definitely wins that one,” Redmayne said during his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

The actor was promoting Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He plays the lead role of Newt Scamander in the first film of the Harry Potter spin-off series.
